ISI Inspection Report 2015

Our most recent Independent School’s inspection was in 2015.

Key highlights can be summarised as follows:

  • At all levels, the curriculum is flexible to meet the needs of pupils.

  • Pupils are friendly, courteous and confident. They converse with adults in a mature, articulate way demonstrating self-esteem and self-knowledge.

  • Children in the Nursery and Reception follow the EYFS curriculum intertwined with the PYP….They are able to develop personal, social, emotional, physical, communication and language skills from an early age, with other areas of learning gradually introduced. These areas provide for the development of creativity and independence.
  • Sixth Form is small but offers flexible arrangements for pupils, enabling them to tailor their courses to their individual needs…and a wide range of other enrichment activities is available.

  • 100% of pupils agree – ‘I find my lessons interesting and engaging’

  • The school consistently promotes good behavior – 100% of parents who responded to the pre-inspection questionnnaire indicated that behavior is well managed by school.

  • 100% of parents agreed ‘my child is making good progress at the school’

  • 100% of parents agreed ‘my child enjoys boarding’ and ‘my child is making good progress at the school’.

ISI Inspection Report 2013

Key highlights can be summarised as follows:

  • The school is successful in meeting its aims. Throughout the school, the pupils’
    overall achievement is good both in relation to their academic work and their extracurricular activities.
  • Pupils’ personal deveflopment is of high quality throughout the school, due to their excellent spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness, as well as the equally high standard of pastoral care they receive

Ofsted Boarding Inspection 2011

Our most recent Ofsted Boarding Inspection was in 2011.

Key highlights can be summarised as follows:

  • Boarders feel safe, happy and well supported in every aspect of their learning and
    out-of-school activities.
  • The school has a welcoming, family atmosphere in which the majority of children
    quickly settle and thrive.
  • The headteacher and senior management team have worked very hard to restore the school to a thriving multicultural community. They are well supported by IES. All staff show their commitment to equality and diversity by fostering positive relationships through shared language and cultural understanding, between students from around the world.
